| Letter of Non-Impediment |

| A letter of non-impediment
is a document stating that the applicant, who is a Singaporean,
is free to marry his proposed spouse who is either a
Malaysian, Brunei Citizen or Indonesian. |

| You can apply for a letter of non-impediment at the Registry in person, bringing along with you the following documents, where applicable: |

| The letter will be issued to you on the day of application, subject to the application fulfilling all the required conditions as stipulated by the Registry. |

| Fee Levied |

| The only fee that will
be levied is the search fee, which is as per the current

| If your marriage is to
be registered in other countries besides Brunei, Indonesia
or Malaysia, and the country where the marriage
will be registered requires a certification on your
marital status record, you can apply for it through
the online search service or at the Registry's self-help kiosk.
